The Research Council meeting of the School of Medicine was held with the presence of the Dean of the School, the Research Deputy, and a group of faculty members and scientific board members.
During the session, the latest performance reports of the School’s research units were reviewed. Strategies for improving scientific research, supporting applied and basic science projects, and enhancing the quality of research outputs were discussed. Emphasis was placed on the importance of targeted and problem-oriented research, as well as strengthening the scientific position of the School of Medicine.
Reports on foreign and domestic scientific collaborations and upcoming international programs were presented, with a focus on expanding cooperation with national and international academic centers. Support for students’ research projects and faculty initiatives was also highlighted.
At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees shared their views and offered suggestions for improving research infrastructures, facilitating access to scientific resources, and increasing participation in national and international research programs.
