History:

The Department of Urology of Faculty of Medicine of SKUMS has been active since the establishment of the University to provide educational, therapeutic and research services. Since then, all the graduates have completed their training and internship courses in the Department

Perspective:

Taking measures to obtain the permission to admit would-be residents by strengthening the scientific base of faculty members including endourology, transplant and restoration, and gynecology fellowships.

Vision:

1) Quantitative and qualitative improvement and promotion of educational, therapeutic and research services of the Department.

Facilities:

1) Round and clinic.

Research priorities:

1) Ways of minimally invasive treatment of prostate diseases and stones, and repair of duct obstruction;
